A threatened forced abortion survivor, Client Ara (not her real name) is a brave young girl who ran away from home to protect her unborn baby.
Client Ara grew up in an abusive family. She grew up witnessing her mother being constantly beaten by her father. But the abuse did not stop there. When the family found out that she was pregnant, not only did her father became physically abusive against her but the other members of her family did as well. By violently attacking her they tried to cause a miscarriage. The family's desire for her to get an abortion was so great that at one point, she was tricked and was forced to go to an abortion clinic. Despite the violence and abuse, Client Ara did not succumb to an abortion. Instead, she ran for her unborn baby's life and her own. With just the clothes on her back she came to WHC.
She is four months pregnant now and is currently residing in a secret, temporary safe-house provided by the Women's Hope Center while we fundraise for the permanent safe-house, the House of Hope (http://give.whckorea.org/houseofhope).
Would you please help support this courageous, young mother and the precious baby in her womb?
