“You are not alone.” A comforting voice, a warm embrace, and full disclosure of all information needed to ensure a scared young woman is told the truth of her options.
We noticed that many of our clients lived in or near Seoul. And so, to provide more accessible, face-to-face counseling to them a triage branch was opened in Seoul on February 5, 2013, made possible by the generous donation of an office in Yangjae by Onnuri Engilsh Ministry. The SeoulTriage Manager provides initial online and phone counseling, then if the client desires, she schedules to meet them at their convenience to provide a free pregnancy test and/or further counseling. Then, based on the assessment, she refers the client to other WHC lay counselors to continue to provide care, to a maternity home/safe-house or other appropriate resource, and/or continues to provide services offered by the WHC.
Please help us ensure that the Seoul Crisis Pregnancy Triage Desk that strategically reaches out to the abortion-vulnerable girls and women in Korea`s capital will continue its life-saving and life-changing ministry to the preborn babies and their courageous mamas living there.
